All these treats look so yummy! I would expect the same experience in the Okura hotel around the globe but I must say that my stay in Amsterdam a few years ago was a great disappointment from the food perspective. Bread was old, salads and fruits were not fresh and it all left me very unsatisfied. But I'm glad to see that you had a completely opposite experience :)

Oh no, that is really disappointing to hear that your Okura experience didn't reflect the Japanese quest for excellence. Maybe the head chef got a day off 😁
