There are all kinds of reasons that some people do not want to turn the camera on themselves: don't speak english, deaf/mute/blind, poor health, skin disease, disfigurement, extortion, blackmail and libel/slander just to name a few. I guess if everyone is encouraged to make shallow content, just to post something, DTube will get boring fast, besides, it's the exact opposite of what they stated they wanted when I joined in December. Edit: not slighted; not presented to the right audience. If my work is good enough to copy (steal) and reposted to FB for far more views than my original, it's about manipulation and not the quality of the work.
