Happy Belated Easter! I hope you all had a great Easter break.

Today I am the happy bearer of good news. Please allow me to introduce our new communal curation account @SteemPh.Trail.

For the last few weeks the SteemPh Core have been trialing it's own curation efforts specifically targeting #steemph tagged posts in an effort in encourage quality content and reward Steemians from our community. Also it is our way of letting you all know we are here. We see the struggle and we are here to help and support our community.

Community run and generously delegated to by our witness @ausbitbank, @SteemPh.Trail will be the new curation and support account for ALL @SteemPh hub featured posts.

This account will also include votes from the trail curators, ALL the @SteemPh hubs and who ever else would like to support us by following our trail.

Being a community initiative, this is a joint effort by Steemit Philippines' founders and hub leads. Each hub lead will be responsible for featuring and curating posts from their communities on to the @SteemPh.Trail account and the trail curators and the hubs will follow it's votes.

I bet you're wondering how you can be curated. Well.. This trail is designed to find and feature THE BEST #SteemPh has to offer and as such we have a number of requirements.

First and foremost posts must be tagged #steemph. This is after all, an effort to feature our best and brightest bloggers in the Steemit Philippines family.

The rest is as follows and serves as a general guideline as each hub's requirements vary.

1. Must tag #steemph
2. Minimum 300 words (http://wordcounttool.com/)
3. Minimum 3 photos/pictures (http://pixabay.com/)
4. Use basic formatting (@Steemnest : Lesson 1)
5. NO plagiarized posts
6. Sources MUST BE credited

You might look at our requirements and think "WHOA!" but please excuse us for a number of us are @sndbox members and these are the standards we have become accustomed to.

From experience, I found having to be mindful of quality of my content, how it's presented, to the length of my posts have helped me be a better blogger and this is the sort of thing we want to encourage with this trail. In time this trail will be known for curating some of the best Steemit has to offer all coming from our #SteemPh backyard.

However, we are not elitists and we acknowledge there is truth behind the famous phrase "A picture paints a thousand words." and have decided to dedicate Wednesdays just for photography submissions. This would be the one day of the week where we will consider featuring a single photo with less than 300 words.

Please also join the Steemit Philippines discord server. Find your hub channel's post section and submit your post there to be reviewed. If you have been featured you will receive a comment in your post.
