Good day guys! The RevUP Diliman Motorshow was held yesterday at the UP Town Center in Quezon City, Philippines and @steemph was one of the partners of the said event and we had the chance to speak in front of the crowd and promote Steemit, as well as set up a booth where @aalagenesis sold art and where we answered inquiries about #steemph and Steemit. This post is a preview of what happened the whole day in the event.

The booth of @steemph was set up at around 2pm by @aalagenesis and @grazz. They had a banner put up behind it that shows the name of our group and our catch praise: "Building Communities. Enriching Lives.". Later on, at around 4 in the afternoon I arrived with my wife @haneun to help out with covering the happenings in the motorshow and help man the booth as well. We also had help from @immarojas who was very generous in providing us snacks (Pizza!) c/o her nieces. We also had surprise help from @ninjace who was in the mall to visit the motorshow.
The booths were located behind the vintage cars being showcased in the amphitheater. There were 4 vintage Chevrolet cars parked at the middle of the area. There was a red Camaro and a white 1951 pickup truck, as well as 2 other cars (1 black and 1 white). I'll be posting more details in a separate blog.
Besides the Vintage Cars, there was also a Remote Controlled Car Circuit set up in one side of the amphitheater. This is where we see RC cars performing drifts around a circuit. There are numerous entrants in this contest and it's amazing how their RCs look like real cars!
The Valet Parking area in the far-side of UP Town Center or UPTC is where the main event was held. The placed housed as much as a hundred cars (or almost) ranging from 2-door race cars, vintage cars, muscle cars, big off-roaders, customized sedans, pumped-up engines, and hatchbacks equipped with massive speakers and entertainment sets.
At around 5pm, @steemph had the chance to grab the mic through @grazz who promoted Steemit.com to the audience and sponsors. She was able to explain what Steemit is and how it works. As well as invite them over learn more about it by signing up and being a part of the platform too. She also invited people to head over to the @steemph booth in the amphitheater where Steemians like herself share more about their experience in Steemit.
The people were also entertained with the bands that went upstage to perform. There were a number of bands discussed in a post by @luvabi in the @steemph page but I only caught one, which was Capacities. They had 7 members and they rocked the stage when they were there!
Come nightfall and the car LEDs lit up the event area. The cars started to shine brighter, more photographs for me and the other photographers in the area. My fellow Steemians @aalagenesis and @ninjace had their DSLRs with them so I'm sure they were able to get lots of cool photos from the event.
Thank you for everyone who dropped by at the booth and the event. Great work @grazz, @luvabi, @dreamiely for setting this up and to the whole @steemph family. Thanks for the help @haneun and @ninjace. And to @aalagenesis, thanks for the wonderful artwork and photos, and for selling some prints to me. Kudos all!
See you on the next event. This just proves why it's more fun to be part of @steemph and Steemit. It's more fun in Steemit Philippines!
