Been a lot of fun checking out your post and yes contest and giveaways are key to growth here on steemit. This platform is still in beta. It isn't as polished as any other social site. A new user wants to join and it can take days not seconds like most. Then you get all ready to make the big money and write a post and maybe get .01 from a few votes mostly by bot accounts inviting you to join their groups. Some of those are real groups but how are you to know. You check trending and see people making thousands of dollars so you try a few more times keep getting nothing and leave. That is a story I have heard too much. Contest like these can be the key to keeping people here and having them grow their accounts. I haven't been able to get one real life friend on steemit yet. But I am still having a great time. It took a little while for me to meet a good group but I found them through contest. This is the same way I found you two. If steemit is going to become more than it is we need to engage users with fun reasons to be here. Thanks guys you are helping lead the way in this.
