We launched battles 1 month ago and we've already hit a giant milestone!
Half a million Steem Monsters games have now been played!
This success and growth is more than what we could have imagined when we launched, and we are proufoundly thankful!
Just a few days ago we hit the 500K mark of games played. We have also reached a player base of over 2500 with almost 35K battles played daily.

Now that Steemfest is wrapping up, we'll be getting back to work on improvements to game play and preparing to launch tournaments.

The game seems pretty cool. I have taken the plunge and bought a starter pack. I have been away from the platform, so I missed the launch. I am looking forward to playing and maybe kicking some butt. We shall see, lol.

This is a great accomplishment for a very compelling game that's fun to play! I really think it adds a lot to the steem blockchain and gives us something else to write about if we choose to do so. The biggest potential here is that it can bring in people to the steem ecosystem who don't care about writing posts but just want to play this cool game. I believe it won't be long until we're celebrating 1 million game plays! 👍
