RE: Steem Monsters Meme Contest

I don’t think you know what child abuse is. There is intent to harm a child. The gif was just a funny accident, the man was trying to open a present and hit his daughter in the face by mistake and you can see that he imediately felt bad for it and tried to grab her.

BTW I am a Mom of 2 young children and I find that hilarious because sometimes shit like that really happens in real life.

You need to get a sense of humour.

Sort:

That's not what I'd call having a sense of humor, nor would I want to laugh at something like that. Most parents take those things seriously they don't go posting them to be laughed at, that in itself is abusive considering the severity of what transpired even if it was a accident, it simply is not a laughing matter.

Well, you’re entitled to your opinion and no one should be flagged for that, just like I shouldn't be flagged because I don't agree with yours.

My opinion is, you're an idiot that is blowing this out of proportion and I’ve seen all the comments you are posting in the community about me. You’re a shit disturber. I hope you are enjoying yourself. We are all on here to have fun. Way to kill it.

I don't believe anybody should get flagged unless there is some sort of abuse. I don't really care what adults say or do among themselves but when it comes to kids being physical assaulted whether intentional or not to make something funny that's just over the line. I am sorry you don't feel the same way but you should, what if someone punched your kid in the face on accident and it got caught on video would you feel the same way if that video made it's way to the web and people used it as humor? Chances are really strong you'll never see me bother you or anyone else again to get flagged, I don't believe in it but there are limits, kids to me are off limit.

You are obviously not a parent. Accidents happen all the time. EVERY parent will tell you that they have accidentally done it before in one way or another.

Yes, I think it’s funny. Even if it was my own kid. So, we can agree to disagree.

If you feel like making a difference in the real world, than I recommend this great website https://www.care2.com/. I've been a member for almost 20 years and you can start or sign petitions and fight for real abuse (among a lot of other things that re really wrong in the world). I just signed one today on Sexual Assault at CBS.

PS. This is my last reply. I am done arguing.
