Steemmonsters - the steem based card game made by @aggroed and @yabapmatt

Just over a week ago, @aggroed introduced his steem based card game which he made with @yabapmatt. Here you get to the introduction post of the game. I discovered the game just today and became curious. It looked fun to me but I wanted the confirmation that I am not the only one, who thinks so and so i read the further posts of @steemmonsters, saw and read most of the comments and checked the tag #steemmonsters out. I get more than i expected.

How do I get the cards?

You can buy the cards through their own website and they will be managed there. You can start with buying a SstarterPack what costs $5. It includes 30 cards. After that you can buy BoostPacks, which cost $2 each and each Pack contains 5 cards.

The cards themselves

The cards are divided into 2 types: monsters and summoners, then rarity and then in elements. In the StarterPack you get generally only normal cards, when you have really much luck, then some good cards like epic or legendary one. But when you buy some BoostPacks, you will get minimum 1 or more high rates cards.
The more you have of one card, the higher level the card will level up. You can also combine cards to make them stronger.
In the near future there will come more features, as i understand it.

What can you do with the cards?

Contest fights. Soon you can fight against other cardholders. There are also tournaments to be held. Of course with prices in the form of Steem, SBD, Upvotes and other cards.

My expressions

Well, I checked the website and it is very simple and clear. They use Steemconnect, so you can give without hesitation your PostingKey. The purchase also runs through Steemconnect and is also completely secure.

You can receive and send cards via the website and exchange them indefinitely. I checked that.

After that I was in the Steemmonsters Discord. It is also kept very clear. Every few minutes a new Steemian arrives there. And all are curious players who absolutely want to have the cards and want to learn more about.

Cards via Steembay

What struck me immediately: people who have high rated cards have started to auction them at Steembay.
Steembay is the steem based auction tool, which was made by @pollux.one and @schererf about half a year ago.
and also @pollux.one has launched a give a way action in which you can catch some top Steemmonster cards. Here you should check out the post.

As with all known card games, it was clear that @Steemmonsters immediately creates its own market.
