Many don't open the link, they just play the video. If you don't make it clear that you are quoting someone else it leaves users to believe you wrote the text.

I really would write an original comment instead of copy/pasting text with a source link. Even if you write the commentary in a language other than English, it would provide more value to steemit.com

Thanks!

naw it dont matter tbh. look at my most recent post. im prolly going to quit steemit and tell everyone I know about my experience. 100 posts and 0.012 steem for it. oh and a bunch of flagging by this asshole below me. growing the block chain to make the whales rich and gitting nothing out of it. seems like a huge waste. I guess maby im the only person that actualy opens videos and pictures to see where they came from. I guess its easier to just assume something and flagg and make comments without actually lookin yourself, idk

Users like myself are trying to encourage original content. That's the direction I want to see the Steemit.com go and I try to help users with that. It's also meant to be a social experience. I get more rewards by commenting on articles and trying to help people than I do on content. I just don't have any inspiration to write anything original at the moment.

Steemit and original content isn't going to appeal to everyone. Good luck to you!
