Why do negative things happen to good people?

in #steemleo5 years ago

Because of Karma.

The law of cause and effect operates in a permanent way manifesting what we have somehow generated. From this we deduce that by doing good we will obtain good, which is correct. However, you may have found that even by doing good deeds, problems arise and then the question arises. Why do bad things happen to good people? The answer is very simple: because of Karma. Even if a person is good in this life, they may carry over debts from their past.

Karma brings people together and keeps them connected throughout their lives. This means that we reincarnate in groups in which we exchange roles. It is probable that a woman has been a mother in one life and in the next one is the daughter. That is why some children have a very authoritarian attitude towards their parents, as if the roles were changed. In reality, this happens when the memory of the previous life is still present in the emotional body. There are friends who look like brothers, because they were indeed brothers before, while there are siblings who look like strangers in the family, because it is their first time together. There are also relatives who seem to be rivals or enemies, when this happens, the universe leads them to be born under the same blood as an attempt to reconcile their souls.

In systemic terms, if we harm a person, it is very likely that in the next life we will be harmed by him. If as a father you have been very severe, then in the future you will have to live as a son the submission of an equally severe father. In this way we learn and recognize what we have done before.

Where did Karma come from? To answer this question we must go back to the origins of humanity. Man was created in the image and likeness of God or a creator, and since he had his creative power he has invented an apparently separate entity. We call this the Ego. Our Ego makes us feel that we are separate from the rest. The effect of separation is a feeling of guilt and, as a consequence, guilt seeks punishment.

Every time we feel guilty about something we have done, our own mind takes care of creating the corresponding new punishment. This punishment can be, for example, loneliness, lack of money, illness, family or relationship problems. The guilt does not end with us. Most of the time, the Ego seeks to project this guilt outwards and so we find the culprits of our unhappiness. When we project outward we are further away from solving the problem. The people who blame others the most are the ones who grow the least.

If the ego does not find fault outside, it can unload the blame onto ourselves, generating immobilization and frustration. This is the case of perfectionist people, who are very orderly or structured. In order to resolve this conflict, we should think that during our learning process, we all make mistakes, that these mistakes are repaired and that we do not have to be condemned because of them. Forgiveness is the key and should not be practiced only with others, but first with ourselves, because I cannot give to others what I do not have or resist giving, it is always our choice.

Forgiveness to ourselves is perhaps one of the most difficult to achieve. Self-condemnation occurs most of the time in a very subtle way, and at the same time, very intense. Sometimes, we feel the voice of an internal judge who reminds us how foolish we have been to have acted in a certain way, this judge is nothing more than the voice of our own Ego that we must learn to silence.

Forgiveness is not synonymous with weakness. Many people confuse forgiveness with permissiveness. Forgiveness does not mean allowing others to do the same thing to you again. Forgiveness means handing over the problem to a higher authority.

The process of forgiveness can be compared to becoming aware that in reality, no one has hurt us, nor have we hurt others. The alleged sin is nothing more than an error of perception. The vital thing from now on is to give love in order to receive love. This is the principle of all well-being, and it is the best way to respect the law of Cause and Effect. In this way, you will see all kinds of miracles manifest in your life.

Good morning @edgarare1

I always found your way of thinking so very different from mine. And it's surely inspiring to read your publications and for a moment see the world the way you do.

Why do bad things happen to good people?
The answer is very simple: because of Karma. Even if a person is good in this life, they may carry over debts from their past.

It does remind me a lot about priests, who would explain that bad things do happen to good people because that's "will of the god". And we - little humans - are to limited to understand his great plan.

Personally it never made sense to me. Hearing such an explanation (karma, god etc) one can easily come to conclusion, that it simply doesn't matter if we continue being good any more. Knowing that I'm being punished because of Karma and it may goes on like this my entire lifetime is very discouraging. Wouldn't you agree?

The truth is, that most people seem never to think about Karma when things are good. And they use this term to explain bad luck to often. So Karma does sound more like 'punishment' more than anything.

ps.
I also wonder how does KArma explain increasing population. How can we all carry memories from previous lifes? Just few generations before us there was less than 1 billion people. Now we're heading towards 10 billion.

Another interesting read. Upvote on the way :)
Yours, Piotr

Hello my friend, I hope all is well for you my friend @crypto.piotr...!!!

Thanks a lot for your great comment.

It is always very encouraging to read each of your comments, because for me it intrigues me to know more about how each person thinks, and through what you mention we start thinking a little more because all this happens.

Your comments are always very accurate, and as you mention it, many people come to the conclusion that God is to blame for everything that happens in our lives.

How can we all carry memories of previous lives?

It may not be credible but this happens, sometimes we feel that we have already been somewhere before visiting it, and when the time comes to stand there, we realize that we have already lived it before, possibly through a dream or an illusion formed in our mind.

Unfortunately, bad things simply happen, no matter how good you are, the universe is not trying to punish you.

Hello very interesting post.
I think that karma, in addition to teaching us, prepares us to face new challenges and that this makes us grow as human beings, but I have a question, where did you learn so much about these spiritual things if you can tell me please?
Thank you, excellent job.
