I had someone ask an interesting question in one of the campaign topics for Steemknights I been running to get new players to your game. They were wondering if it was possible to get linked to me as the person who referred them. They signed up without a referral and as I offer ongoing prizes to those who use my links they would like to get linked to me. The comment can be found below.

as long as they weren't referred by anybody else yet it's of course possible!
They just need to sign in again with your link.
Players also have the possibility to directly set an referral ingame once the game launches.
But once they have one set it isn't possible to change afterwards.

That's great news but It leaves me with one question.
If someone uses my link to sign up today, once the game launches are they able to remove me as their referral via setting someone else as a new referral or is the one time manual referral set only for players who signed up without one?
Anybody who was referred by you will forever stay that way and won't be able to change that fact :)
Only the players who signed up without a link are able to change it. (Either via login with a reflink after creating the account or manually setting it ingame).

Nice system you have in place to allow those who missed out on signing up under someone to do so.
