The mechanic told me they were designed to break down! At least that was his opinion. But that was 30 years ago, I'm sure they're more reliable now.

My husband has a Jag for 11 years already and there is no issue with it. It has over 300k km and it's in perfect conditions..
Maybe they were exporting cars with defects to the US, lol! You never know!
If you would be driving 30km/h faster in Switzerland you would pay much more :D Believe me Germany is much cheaper!

I never had an urge to compensate anything :D I rather drive a fast car than a big car :D The only issue with my height is when I want to see something and there are tall guys in front of me blocking my view! I can get really furious about that :D
haha! that's funny delishtreats..you get furious if someone is taller than you? so in other words you are angry all the time because dang near EVERYONE is taller than you! lol.
But I can relate..not with being furious but I get frustrated in a very low car, the big raised-up 4 wheel drive pickup trucks let you see over most vehicles so you can see what's going on. For me that's the best reason for them, plus in heavy rains it's much safer and if you need to go off road or in a pasture or something it's no problemo.
So is your Jag the one your husband had or did you guys get a new one?

Not on the street of course!! But for example when I'm at the party and want to see the DJ, or when I'm at a concert and don't see anything because somebody VERY tall is in front of me. You can't imagine that frustration :D

My husband has his own car and I have MY own car :) When I bought it people thought he got it for me and I was telling them, that I'm getting luxurious bags, clothes and jewelry from him BUT the car I can buy myself, lol!!! I'll send you a photo on Discord :)

Shame on you cowboy!! The truth is that I was never interested in jewelry but bags were my soft spot. I have quite a few exclusive pieces. But this all happened before I went vegan. Now I don't buy it anymore PLUS I have changed a lot over the last couple of years. My priority changed. I don't care about material things anymore. I love to spend time with my family and I started to collect memories instead of things. This is much more important! Yes, I do owe my 'old' things but I don't have any pleasure in getting new ones.
Honestly, if I would be under the pressure to get money I would start working again. I would not be able to feel so insecure. I know many people can't find jobs and I feel sorry for them. I'm not judging anybody.. this is just how I would handle the situation.

We just came back from Luxembourg. I'm so tired as it was a long way plus the weather was very bad so I'm disappointed as I couldn't take any photos from the city. We spent time with friends which was very nice but the weekend turned out differently than I expected..
