RE: Texas Vegan Brisket??? Say it ain't so!

Normally, I'd love to have a grea tgrandchild when I'm 64, but my granddaughter would only be 12 at that point, so there better not be a great grandchild by then. My guess is, I will be somewhere between 70-75 when that happens.

I'm not sure what to tell you about my father. I know he's taken offense, but I don't know if things were directed at him, per se. He and my mother are still married, which I think has required some thick skin on both of their parts. :)

I think the opposite of set in my ways is happening. I mean, there are some things that are definitely solidifying. However, realizing that I don't know everything and that there's tons I don't even know I don't know is becoming much more prevalent. It's just voicing an opinion and not being ashamed or scared to do it which is becoming less of a factor. I can still be wrong, though. I try to keep an open mind on many things, but on the things I'm fairly certain of, keeping an open mind to keep from stepping on toes is becoming more and more a worthless endeavor to me.

oh how interesting. .so you are less concerned about stepping on toes than you were but are more open minded. Well at least for me steemit makes me realize how little I know everyday! lol. so it helps to keep me open minded also.

We just need the whole world to get on steemit! I think that would force people to listen to each other at the very least.

Your parents both have thick skin because of each other! lol. that sounds funny but it probably shouldn't be!
it sure is good to see you here, are you back now, more full time?

I am back full time, whatever that means. I still have this interest level to increase to get my head back in the game, but other than that, I don't have any major time commitments until Saturday's dinner.

oh very good sir! so that means that your wife is doing real well, I know she went back South for a spell but will go back to work soon so things can go back to normal.
