STEEMJET UNIUYO | MY EXPERIENCE

in #steemjetuniuyo7 years ago

I want to say a very big thank you to steemjet for making my birthday. Yeah, today is my birthday. Grateful to God for keeping me up to this day. Now, enough about me. It was wonderful today at the steemjet awareness program that held at UNIUYO Main Campus at TETFund Auditorium. The attendance was very impressive, both people from the campus and of the campus came yearning to learn about steemit, steemjet, and the overall crypto currency platform. The event started with a giveaway of #1000 airtime to the first twenty people present at the event. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it to the first twenty sobbing.

Present at the event included the inventor and founder of steemjet himself ("The Boss") @deandaniel, the "moneyman/engineer" @empacto365, @samstickkz, @dannytroniz "the organizer", Peter Utin, an investor in lite coin, @folly-pandy, the MC, @kvng1 and other extinguished steemjet and steemit members. Here is a picture from the event:

The meeting was a step in the right direction to bring more people to steemit and the steemjet community at large. The meeting kicked off at about 10:30am starting with an opening prayer from the MC, followed by an opening speech from @deandaniel who shared his appreciation to the audience for attending, and continued by telling us the importance of crypto currency and what steemjet is all about.

There was a quiz competition done by @folly-pandy where there was a giveaway of 2SBD and #1000 for answering the question on how to create a steemit account which I was really surprised that nobody seemed to know (or didn’t just want to answer). The quiz continued and people got gifts in SBD, @folly-pandy also told us about his success story with steemit, how he started, his backdrops and how he later made it on the steemit platform under steemjet, it was a wonderful and encouraging story.

@Samstickkz took up the stage and gave us a general talk on crypto currency, its meaning, the different types of crypto currencies, their transaction speed, mining and how to know which crypto currency would be best to invest in, he talked extensively on steemit what it represents and the importance of investing in steemit, he talked about the speed of transactions in steemit, the ease of posting and how you can still make post even if you don't have a laptop or a smartphone, and advised those that had not joined steemit in the audience to join as soon as possible and start contributing to the community. He also advised us to invest in bit coin and litecoin as well. He said some things about mining which stunned me. He said that the size of a bit coin mining machine was as big as the auditorium was as large as the auditorium used for the event and that the electricity needed to power this mining machine was enough to power Nigeria. I was like damn!!!
Utin Peter came in after @samstickkz took the mic and gave a very powerful and motivational speech that elated the crowd, told the audience to think about ways to help ourselves financially and stop hoping and waiting for the government or other people to employ us. He also gave quotes like:

“Salary is a bribe given to us make us pursue another man’s dream”

He talked about litecoin and told us why we should invest in litecoin. He described litecoin as the next big thing in crypto currency. Litecoin transactions are fast since they involve just thirty confirmations which takes about fifteen seconds to carry out. He also talked about Forcount a trading platform that uses smart programs to do the buying and selling of crypto currency for you. The program can do 5 to 6 transactions in 6minutes, the program predicts the future of the crypto currency and invests for you. He also talked about Goldcoin, Goldcoin has been in existence 2012, and you can buy, sell and mine on the platform. You can choose to earn in gold or earn in cash. He also talked on raincash.

@empato365 came in and gave a little speech on steemit and the importance of the community, and a post he has made on his blog about everything you need to know about steemjet. Anyansi Emmanuel came on stage and talked about Airdrops and how to make money in tokens on the platform by doing simple task on Facebook, follow people on twitter, retweet, like and comment on their post. If I remember correctly he referred to airdrops as new crypto currencies that are not yet official. @deandaniel took the closing speech and thanked everyone for attending. The MC did the closing prayer and the meeting ended. Although I am not a space force member, I can proudly say that I am a member of steemit and the steemjet community.
