This is ok, that we realize the limitations of STEEM and that EOS is more scalable than steem, but it is also relevant to remember what STEEM has that EOS never will.
STEEM and BTC and LTC are mined coins that are distributed via mining, while EOS and ETH are ICOs that were distributed by an initial coin offering. Regulators are reluctant to group Bitcoin with ICO coins like Cardano, and therefore, EOS and STEEM are actually DIFFERENT ASSET CALSSES.
It is OK to compare different asset calsses based on performance, but STEEM will still be a mined social currency even as EOS launches STEEM-like tokens on its platform. Comparing STEEM to EOS will be forever comparing apples to oranges. Which is OK, because they taste different, but STEEM will still be the best mined chain social currency while EOS can be the best ICO social currency token.
Now about the upvote prize payout in liquid steem offer.
Premiminary results show that about 80% took the offer, and now that STEEM value has increased, we should be able to pay our remaining debts sooner, this way, we can look at new initiatives.

I will not judge, even though I am all in STEEM and not going to switch to EOS, I cannot feel any hard feelings to those who do want to be the EOS community. I will join as a minnow to check it out, and if I like it, then I might sell steem to make my way over there.
It seems that steemjet followers are well educated in the EOS platform, and crypto in general. The steemjet space force is what makes steemjet so great, and if the steemjet space force migrates to EOS then I will follow, and help build our legacy there.
Yes. I do agree with this. I do prefer instant payouts to upvotes but mainly on the basis of a long-term investments also in steem. In my analogy. If everyone had a sizeable amount of steem, then wize usage of it can go a long way.
Eos on the other hand is yet to prove what its full capabilities but on a scale of 1-10, steem still hits the top with respect to rate of transactions within the blockchain... So steem still has an edge...

It is fine, my posts are a mess currently.
Organization is my top priority. But when somebody drops a artistic bomb, then I need to switch gears to follow it. I need to make our accounting books flexible for this reason.
So we can have fairness (those who want $ now get it) and creative expansion when new members demand upvotes through demonstration of divine inspiration.
Our records just went from 80% complete to 85% with this post, and hopefully, at this rate, we will be all paid up in May no problem (if the current steem price holds).

I thought that until I tried "diversifying" my crypto, and eventually realized that dividing your stack into 2000 versions of Bitcoin was NOT sage advise.
STEEM lives BECAUSE of its unique reward pool distribution system, and I consolidated my diversification strategy into steem because I don't think that "diversification" applies to your currency, rather your "non-currency" investments.
It is just that the conventional "diversification" buzzword came at a time when there was bacically zero currency competition. Enter POW (BTC/LTC/VTC), and you don't have a "new" asset class, rather a "new" currency competitor, that's all. I missed that one completely

There is always going to be room for everything in crypto world. But as an investor you have to always have your eyes open at competing tech. At least competition can be used to get inspired and evolve your own model.
Steemit is 2 years out already. Of course Eos is the talk of the town now as the new tech it always get more attention. Also it is a Dan Larimer creation and that alone is enough to be a booster on its hype since I don't think there is someone here on steemit that does not admire his achievements.
I would suggest to anyone to have some skin in the game of EOS as well as steemit for the future. I don't think either will fail. There will be a bright future for both..
I tend to agree. I will only consider moving to EOSteem if steemjet space force members do.
I follow this community, not the other way around because these artists here inspire me, and a crypto is only as good as their community (WHO owns your crypto is one of the greatest questions to ask yourself before buying into a community).

From my perspective, i wanted the instant payout to invest in steem i hadn't the idea to invest in other crypto, i know that it's good thing to invest in multiple currencies but my heart and my brain is with the steem and the steem blockchaine, I'm welling to power up my account so that i can be able to attract people (others) to steemit and specially to the STEEMJET community. I want to have a part of responsibility or the STEEMJET.

To be honest, we must always measure STEEM against other social currencies.
This is super easy now when zero other coins employ the reward pool distribution method. But we must always be looking out for competitors to ensure that we will always be a member of the LARGEST, and most adopted social currency. There is strength in numbers, and right now, we are crushing it as number 1, but we are mature enough to realize our technical limits and responsible enough to accept the fate of our actions.
I just don't want to come in here one day to find out that the steemjet space force has left steem for EOSteem or some other platform that I had no prior knowledge of.

Well, concerning your fears, i agree 100% but i still think that if we invest in the STEEMJET force as the backbone of this community by teaching them they won't run behind other tokens, we should give them the sens of responsibility against this platform. Being aware of other currencies is a great thing, invest in other currencies is an excellent, but people should appreciate this platform. But if and only if the STEEMJET force want to move over we don't have choice but following the path, there we should guide them as well, so they stay one unit.

I don't think that it is hard to appreciate the platform, but I did not come here as a minnow, because I wanted to take on the responsibility of developing our community which I believed could go global based on the utility.
Looking at what you get for free with steem is fantastic.
Comparing what your posts make with someone else's is not.
This is the chasm we are dealing with, and is really the main point of attack that EOS has (how much do minnows make, and how can the chain afford it).
The reward pool model is difficult to compete with, because you have to find a way to offer a BETTER and FREE platform that is spam resistant (where steem fails and EOS hopes to win)
I went to search and get some information on the eos, from what i saw i believe that EOS hasn't launched yet. Also they talk positively about its future, now i get the whole point of your fears.
And one last thing before i go to bed, if i get any steem i will power it up, that's my way, I'm on the wings of superstars, I'm words and STEEM
Power up is a great way of distributing steem.
Hi, i have a suggestion for you. Well you are planning to reward people in upvotes right? The prizes are big and you are wasting too much time in upvotes with max of 8$, i checked your 100% vote value and it was almost 45$ but now your voting power is like 20%, my suggestion is: why you don't leave your voting power to rest for like 5days to reach the 100 then you can upvote 10 times per day, like this you will save time (that worth money) and you can concentrate on other stuff.
What do you think?

we do not want to promote blind loyalty, but educated decision making.
steemjet community can survive under ANY social media currency, and if we need to pack our bags and go to where the adoption is actually occurring, then so be it.
Just because STEEM dies, does not mean that STEEMJET has to die too?
We all will still be alive and able to do our thing on another platform.
This is what adoption looks like. Everyone using the same or similar platform but they don't care which, as long as the functionality is there.
The problem in this case, of course is that the platform tokens have the value that powers all activity, and volatility is noticed regardless.
Therefore, we can only urge adoption but with our eyes open to our closest competitors.

Yes, our strength is that we CAN move our community, but we won't need to if we can push STEEM to the next level of adoption, and with the guaranteed comparisons to EOSteem, we will have the stage set with lots of publicity. The best thing that the devs could do now is to launch SMT when EOS launches in June. But that probably won't happen.

Well it is actually true a lot of people prefer getting pad out in liquid steem than waiting for upvotes. I for example prefer liquid steem because it enables you solve other personal problems and invest in other crypto. Even if we love STEEM, most people still prefer to have other crypto.

Eos seems to be the talk of the day for every cryptonian. It's cool but I don't see it as cool as steem. Am sure people heading there are just going to get a house but will still come back and leave in steem. If you understand me.
