Well said @swissclive, as beginners, we should try to build a reputation by reading posts and providing honest comments on what we like. We shouldn't be thinking of earning quick in the beginning. Once we start making friends via followers, the money or the upvotes will follow. I suggest participating in contests and giveaways to make ourselves noticed by other Steemians, have a fan base and then the upvotes will come naturally.
