The kids think they re grown, that themselves they own
Their wards think they ll rot cos their blood won't clot
Leaders turned to ghosts, the masses are lost
The feathers are gone, the haters are cloned
Mutiny displayed ,civilians displaced
Employees replaced, they ll never be praised
The students would rage,no matter the age
The teachers would maim, for they faced the same
We re yet to decide who should lead the way
We crave skins and hides, yet we rob in hay
We bury hatchets to show up with machetes
Memories heartfelt,we keep them at arm's length
We smile, laugh and jest, then ignore the rest
We stopped shedding tears, when not in our nests
What then are we now? Robots in disguise
Who will bell the cat will then head the mice.
No grounds left to mow ,north south, east and west
Humans wearing clubs, like life was a test
Too much thoughts we carve, less feelings we have
Whos behind the mask, no one cares to ask
Notes
Humans have truly been searching for the purpose of life but halfway I guess we ve stopped living.Research has made us totally unsatisfied and we keep craving for more no matter what we get.We think too much and feel so little.Maybe the answer lies in living and appreciating life and not pushing it to the extreme for the sake of lethal knowledge. But distrust has grown within humans due to extreme competition.A smile is sensed to be a means of deceit. No one seems to be right no more. Not the kids nor the students. Not the teachers nor the parents. Not the civilians nor the soldiers. Not the masses nor the elites. Not the rich nor the poor. Not the employees nor their bosses. But only the ones who feel will know. The ones who live will find out
