Words are potent seeds
Be not deceived
Your life like a field
A harvest will soon yield

This warning you must heed,
To watch as carefully as you need,
For words spoken at emotion's peak,
May affect adversely the life you lead

Thus, curses are thistles,
And idle jokes whistled
In years ahead often reveal
Dangers earlier concealed

You've heard say: God's case no appeal,
But I dare say: words spoken, no repeal.
Thus, seed time and harvest,
Shall never cease!

#NOTES; It's day 37 of the 100 days of poetry challenge organised by @d-pend. Today's poetry is titled: Words; potent seeds.

In this poem, words are compared to seeds, potent ones that have much potentials of cultivating. Words we say are most likely to happen..

We should always be careful of what we say especially when angry or in rage. These words can't be retrieved and can't be rephrased after the anger is gone either. Words are powerful weapons... It can make or destroy a man.
