FOREIGN AFFAIR

propeller wheezing in harmony,
a chopper flying low, nervously
tear up the sky on capital of greece
with a monarch on the run, away
a twang was pounding to pieces
for his ear: just rock music melody
hot jet bursts increase,
doppler law along with mayday
straightforward to the land of never-ever-in-peace
glance at the watch made in suisse
arrow tip marking the wind, steadily
smoothly, landed on an antique quay
escorted her royal highness to the enemy;
once again he’s gone; as never he exist.

This is my 4th submission for 100 Day Poetry Challenge conceived by Daniel Pendergraft @d-pend. I am the author of three poetry anthologies, but still beginner in English poems.

It reads like a robert ludlum book. I guess you are describing the motions of an aircraft along with some captured person. Being taken away to safety, or worse to a hide out. I like the formatting.

You have a good ide for poetry. But, I think, you must try to use contemporer tiphography and new metaphore...
