I somehow missed this post, but we had a lengthy electrical outage here, was super frustrating, I'm still fighting with our municipality!!!

31 hours later!!!! I was furious as it was due to them cancelling our fault because the clever controller decided/assumed our problem was part of another general outage a couple of kilometres away!!! They're gona pay for their mistake, just on principle, as it's been happening to other people as well, totally unacceptable!!!
Ya, hopefully they reimburse u for any business lost ar ur bnb during that time!
For sure, could have been disastrous if we had guests, fortunately was midweek and we were empty! Now I know why there's service delivery protests in some of our little towns, never experienced it before in Durban!

Our power was finally restored on Thursday morning after 31 hours!!! I was so annoyed, some clever person decided to cancel our fault assuming it was part of a general outage which was not even in our zone. Luckily no guests during the week! But I'm claiming from their insurance for loss of perishables due to their gross negligence!
