Steemit sandwich contest week 33: a delicious vegan sandwich

Greetings to my dear readers

When I was a kid, healthy food is always never delicious. (Sorry mum, but I'll always love you for the effort you put in to prepare it.) it's known that oily, salty, sweet food are essential to a dish in order to be delicious, however all those elements are considered unhealthy. That is what I have been told, but the truth is just eating in moderation. Anyway I realise that more people I know are starting to be vegetarian. There are so many reason of that commitment. Some say they do it because of health, some think it could help with weight lost. After having some thought about that, I realise sandwiches are common made with meat, thus to prove to many that a healthy vegetarian can be delicious as a meat sandwich. This sandwich I am about to share with all of you contains NO MEAT, BUTTER, EGG, DAIRY PRODUCTS.

steam carrot bun with grilled smoked bean curd and coconut curry floss.

wow good post yummy

This sounds and looks amazing! 😋

Oh boy, this looks and sounds amazing. Smoked Bean curd is an interesting choice. I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe anyone has ever used that specific ingredient before. At first I thought it was a tofu sandwich tbh.

Anyway, welcome to SSC! Top Not creation!

Ya it definitely adds a distinct flavour. I always think back to the difference between cooking a steak over a campfire vs BBQ or grill etc... You get that smoke flavour that otherwise does not come through.

Now smoking meat or fish etc is a bit of a different process of course, however I feel like they add the same kind of quality of tastes on a basic level. obviously your campfire steak isn;t going to stay for 6 months after you cook it haha
