I see palm trees so it looks like your in a good place to start already blancobasura!:)
Maybe in a few year I will be able to get another dog ,That is when the grieving subsides .. lol

Yes. I'm from So Cal.
It is hard to lose a dog. I know how that is. I can tell you, though. Often enough a new dog helps with the grieving
