Hey guys!
So Im currently enrolled in General Psychology here in our school for summer class. One topic we discussed is the different parts of the brain and we came to encounter WHY EINSTEIN WAS EINSTEIN, a great icon of the academe.
The brain is composed of the four major parts:
TEMPORAL LOBE - responsible for our speech
FRONTAL LOBE - for reasoning, motor skills, higher level cognition & language
OCCIPETAL LOBE - for visual
PARIETAL LOBE- processing of sensory information
The fun fact is that Einstein had a bigger PARIETAL LOBE. This enabled him to process for more sensory information than most of the iddal human brain.
He was kicked out of school because he showed no interest in classroom learning. This was to the fact that his brain had already advance processing.
Whenever Einstein had trouble in solving problems, he would play the violin. By this activity his brain would be able to use the different parts and enabled the parietal lobe to relax.
Another way of expanding our memory is doing new things. Associating a thing with another can also help. This helps the other parts of the brain to expand its usage.
So whenever we have mental blocks or need inspirstion just like we do here in steem, listening to music or playing and instrument can be a positive outlet to calm our nerves and refresh. (Credits to the owners of the photos)
Until next time steem!
