Hello to all our @steemitmamas and supporters!

Do you know that our mamas have been producing really quality posts and contributing to Steemit? That's exactly what this curation post is going to share with you. We have our mamas drop their respective links in the various shared channels and we are proud to highlight their posts from there. We have switched from curating from the #steemit channel to #parenting-kids-family as we have found some really good stuff there. After all, we are mothers, and parenting is what we do and our kids are the ones who made us mamas! It may be a real struggle at times, but it never beat the joy of being a mama and having our children with us. We are the chosen ones!

Without further ado, here are some highlights:

Fear and the Denial of Birthright by @shawnamawna

@shawnamawna is rather new to our community but she is no stranger to many on Steemit. In this post, she speaks loudly about her Lebanese roots and the story of how her family settled in America. She is determined to let her birthright speak louder than her fears, especially in a foreign land. When the musical tongue of her language is spoken, she experienced a very different emotion, which she wants her children to experience as well. I love how sincere she is through the words of this post, with many emotional moments recorded throughout the whole post. It makes me think of my dialect that seems to be a bit lost after my generation too. Do head over and read it for yourself, it may spark off a new determination for you. The post is leaning towards its 7 days old, so do support her other newer posts too.

Parenting by @esttyb

@esttyb shared with us a conversation she had with a colleague where there were different opinions of how parents should view their children. This mama mentioned in the post that whatever it is, we should always speak well and positively to and of our children. She has observed that in some cultures, parents have a higher tendency to curse their children and she totally does not agree with that practice. Do drop by her post to share your opinions, if you have not.

Vama Concert at Zoom Beach by @lymepoet

You maybe thinking what does a concert have to do with parenting? Hahaha. I thought so too at first. Only to realize that @lymepoet brought her son along to this concert of the band she used to adore. She was not able to get any babysitter for her son, so she brought him along, only to find out it was the best decision. He was enjoying himself playing with the sand and even made some new friends, despite not being able to speak Romanian. The amazing thing was she was not the only parent who brought their children along, they were at least 50 children running around and enjoying the music as well! I totally enjoy looking through her photos, as always.

Opposition to Breast-Feeding Resolution by U.S. Stuns World Health Officials by @trucklife-family

In this post, @trucklife-family stands in advocacy for the resolution from Ecuador towards breastfeeding. It has always been a threat to the profit margins of the formula milk manufacturers. With the decrease of sales but the increase of the breastfeeding rate, they are trying everything including the distribution of free milk samples. @trucklife-family shared that breastmilk is designed to nourish our children to provide them with what they actually need. For you breastfeeding mamas, this is definitely a worthy read to be encouraged and feel the support. It may not be an easy journey at all, but know you are giving a very wonderful gift to your children and also yourself!

Remember to visit the posts above to show some love to our fellow mamas! Each of them represent some of us in our community with their stand in different matters. Parenting is always a topic close to our hearts and we resonate with one another. There's no better mama to your child(ren) than who you already are. You are pre-assessed by God to know that with His grace, you are going to triumph through, hence you are the chosen one! YES YOU ARE!
