RE: My Chores On the Homestead

You are gaining some VERY valuable knowledge, Joshua. Man I wish I had learned such practical skills as a young lad. The closest I came that was going to Mexico to visit my grandfather's farm when I was around 11 years old. We would milk some cows and then sell said milk and some cheese around town. We would also prepare the chickens for selling in the market. That was just one summer though. You are going to become well versed in these matters, to the point of enjoying the many fruits of your labor.

We are currently homeschooling our children here in the city so seeing your posts really helps all of us out who are on this path. They tend our small garden in the backyard and we recently acquired egg-laying hens. They love taking care of them. Well done and thanks for sharing!
