It is kind of playable now.

G'day Steemreels,

This is the first point the 'game' is kind of playable, the survivors and resources exist only in numbers on the hud for now, but I want them to be in world eventually so you can decide to kill the resource hogs, if that is your thing.

Here are the project files and a Win64 packaged version, but I need to do some setup to do a Linux setup if the project files don't work.

It's coming right for me!

Boom! Bye Bye.

...

The way to check for survivors right now is to shoot the escape pod (big ball rolling around) with a teapot and send it back into space... that will have to change.

And that's the "game". Thought If I get more done before deadline It may be better.

Also notice the awesome sound effect I made for the jetpack, bet you can't guess what it is.

My collection of survivors, two good guys supporting four normal survivors. No bad guys yet. Lucky.

crazy powerful gun!
congrats on finishing the very first steemitjam. it's only gonna get more exciting!

yeah, I had fun with it, the teapots weigh a bit more than the escape pods.

Hi Follow me :) Because I love your posts and I m thinking you will love my posts buddy .)

"And that's the "game". Thought If I get more done before deadline It may be better." The deadline was actually 30 minutes ago (15 minutes before your post - January 8th at 1am GMT), I guess it's fine.

Oh really? I was an hour off the timezone, probably daylight savings or something, I should have checked again.

I should have made a post that the jam was ending or displayed some sort of timer like they do on the Ludum Dare. You're probably not the only one that will do this mistake if we redo the event.

Things to learn going forward. I enjoyed starting a new project.

If I was going to go in a first 'Jam' this was a good one to go in.

It will be interesting to compare myself to now in a years time.

I see massive improvements in my game jams. My art has really improved since April 2017 and I will continue to improve and practice for the next ones. What do you think about SteemitJam being a monthly thing? Like the first weekend of each month?

Can you tell me what is the difference between the project and project_V2? I'm not sure which one I should play to review.

Oh right, sorry, Project is the Submission.

V2 is an update but is from hours after deadline.
