Oh man! Thank you so much for the mention! This is a great article and provides an excellent overview from your perspective. I've heard it from some people that posts like these - so-called "self-serving" posts - aren't good, but I beg to differ. I think they provide insight to new users, and I certainly appreciate being highlighted as someone worth knowing. Means I must be doing something right. Keep up the good work buddy :)

Thanks, I appreciate your kind words. This post came from a sort of "writing prompt" and I couldn't talk about what Steemit has been for me without supporting the people that encourage me along the way. A mention is the least I could do.
