Yes, opposite side of the state! But it's the Husband's hometown so I asked him where he'd recommend people "passing through" to stop if they were so inclined. He recommends the Alpha for lunch or Figaretti's for dinner (for "where the locals go" places to eat), and Oglebay park for sightseeing :)

Ah. That's too bad. Food and sightseeing wasn't really our aim. We were hoping to meet you guys and see something of your neck of the woods. We will figure out another time. I have seen quite a bit of Wheeling (good and bad) many years ago. Had to bail my little brother out of a bind there once. He studied briefly in Morgantown.
