Say it the way you see it @energyaddict22 this is the best of the best rants I have seen in awhile!
My philosophy has always been "beware of the know-all" those who "shout loudest" normally are in it only for themselves, they could not be bothered, nor take time out to actually respond to minnows.
Communities are a good way to get to know people on a more personal level, sadly each and everyone wants their logo used whenever you use their community to share from. Some even expect you to always use their footer and tag, yes you are part of the community, but does the post need to look like a cheap store window. (I do this because I do enjoy supporting communities, sometimes very grudgingly). Tags are a premium, your currency on Steemit to be noticed in the right place.
Stick with people I Like Trust and Know offering the best they have, usually it is high quality, informative and ranges in the 80/20 basics of 80% interesting, unusual, nature, animals, environmental, travel, and 20% selling products you support with information or something tried and tested by myself. So basically one post per week is promoting business ideas I really do support.
When pumping one product without using the 80/20 formula people actually know little about you, place a barcode where your face is on your profile since all you are selling is a product. IMHO
NB: Steemit is a Social Media Platform.
Thanks for stopping by @joanstewart. Of course, I always like to see and here from you. I truly appreciate how supportive you are with others and see why so many people follow and interact with you. (You are probably much better suited to it than I am, ;) Humble as your opinion is, I love hearing it. All the best to you.
