In the recent months, I noticed more and more people travel around the Philippines and even around the world. I have to admit, Filipinos have become more luxurious and more people can now afford travelling. Thanks to cheaper plane tickets!

Since I started working, I have traveled more than 5 times in 5 different places. This is because I often score the cheapest flight passes that the "yellow airline" offers. Just recently, I was lucky enough to book a flight to a country I cannot name for now. Clue --- it's a western country.
So let me share with you some of the travel hacks that I know to help you book that dream flight!
First, subscribe to newsletters of different airlines.
When you book a ticket to a certain airline, you can always have the option to subscribe to their newsletters. This will allow you to receive instant emails from the airlines. And once they announce cheap fares, you'll be the first to be notified.

Now that you are being notified of the cheap fare offers, the hardest thing would be the booking itself.
The first times I've tried booking, I failed. I have a slow Internet connection and there's no other way I can compete to those travel warriors. Another thing is that I'm always at work so I'm always late when airlines open their online ticketing services for promos.
My suggestion : Book tickets the day after Piso Sale were sold.
Travellers will be given 24 hours to pay for their booked tickets. Most of the time, groups who have booked tickets will not be able to pay for the tickets in 24 hours so their slots will be opened the next day. This is the time that you book the tickets. Believe me, you will still get cheap tickets even after the 3rd day of sale.
I actually booked my ticket to "this western country" 5 days after the airline announced they will have a piso fare. I was jumping for joy because it was a really great deal! I'll be sharing the details of the trip once I get there because I still have to apply for my visa.
Last but not the least, always check the airline website.
I had lost my hopes that I could score cheap flights the time that I booked my greatest flight. But there was something whispering that I should check the website. It was a complete luck. I found more than 5 cheap tickets with less than 100 people browsing the website. Maybe they thought that the sale has ended and that all tickets were already sold out. But then as what I mentioned earlier, if travelers fail to pay for the ticket in 24 hours, the slots will be opened again. So yeah, I was really lucky!
That's how I scored my travel of the year! What are you waitng for? Check your favorite airline now!
