In my 2 months of roaming around this wonderful platform, I noticed that hundreds of people join Steemit with hopes of being noticed.

Most people who sign up on Steemit would think that as long as they post something, they will be noticed. Well for some, it can be true. But people need to know that it's all in the branding.
What do we mean by BRANDING?
As a Communication graduate, we tackled the ways on how to build a brand. A brand is what you will be known for by your audience. Having a brand is really important because that's what makes you exceptional from the thousands of bloggers you share the platform with.
In our case here on Steemit, our brand is our material or content. Your readers will immediately remember you if you have your own brand.

Let me mention @chinito as an example. He has been very helpful to me growing my blog. In my first 5 days here, I observed how he created his content and how come he always has something to post. And then I realized that he has his own brand.
If you visit his Steemit page, you would see a lot of TRADE content and log reviews. Those things are his brand. When a reader wants a digestive view on how BTC is going on a specific day, they would look at @chinito's blog for materials.
Now, let's take a look at @maverickinvictus blog and let's try to determine his branding based on his posts.
Upon checking his blog, I noticed that he's fond of creating contests for newbies. It also includes challenges to make his page more engaging and exciting. He is also into poetry and creative content, writing about life and his Steemit stories. What a great branding, right?
Time to build your brand!
In building your own brand, it's not wrong if you look for other bloggers as an inspiration. It's just that you will be dividing the attention with that blogger if you make your page much similar to your inspiration blogger.
Contemplate on the things that you enjoy writing or discussing.
If you like lurking around the city, then try building a blog focused on travels. Just make sure that you incorporate something unique to it so you'll get noticed easily.
If you observe my blog, I write about different topics. But I created an exceptional branding.

You would see that I always have a title for my readers to identify what kind of blog the content is. And not only that! My certain "STORYNIA" brand also sticks inside my readers head because that is my name so they would easily remember the name of the blogger.
Post content regularly.
Don't let a month pass without you posting anything. Always remember that readers have to see your name in one of the tags so you will not go unnoticed. It would help if you schedule your blog posting so your readers will know that you post a material in a certain day so they would watch out for it.
Explore the platform.
There's no other way to be exceptional than to make yourself different from the others. You'll be able to make yourself different by roaming around the platform. Read a lot of blogs, check out the tags and think of new ways on how to present your blog. Try to make a twist on your blogs rather than copying one blogger's style.
Lastly, interact with others. Make friends.
If you really want to grow your blog, make friends with other bloggers that have the same interest as yours. In that way, you would learn how to write and grow your blog with people who truly support your content. You'd be surprised of the number of people who share the same passion as yours.
