Making NEW memories
Ever since Barney was a little boy something was very odd. He absolutely hated being in crowds, being touched and even speaking. You could just imagine how bad this was for his parents. They couldn’t give him hugs, never heard him speak and could never take him out to any place where there is more than two people.

Living in the city this has been a big problem for Marley and Peter. They couldn’t take him to the park, because their where to many people, to much noise and way too much “busy” that little Barney could cope with. So to make life easier for them, they decided too leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind. They sold their house to buy a 5 acre plot just outside of town, but also in the country.
This was where they hoped that they would be making new memories.
…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
You see all the good memories of Barney’s birth, his first sounds, his first steps, the first time he tried to ran has been over shadowed by the rocking, the screaming, the refusal to be held. Isn’t this just everything that parents would love to experience? Would love to cherish and hold dear to their hearts.
That first little sound, moan or groan. That first step, wabbel and fall. That first mamma, dada and baba. O how did I love that time. But that was where it all ended.

Ever since Barney was three the screaming began. The rocking in one place for hours. We never slept, in fact even when we began taking turns to sleep, he screamed so much that the other one also didn’t get any shut eye.
This went on for months. No one could help, because then Barney had one of those rocking episodes. We never connected the dots. Tired, exhausted, at wits end. That was just some of the many emotions and feelings going through my head. We went from doctor to doctor and all of them said he was just a typical three year old.

But how typical is that really.
Finally I took him to an occupational therapist...

My daughter was the same way this year. What we ended up doing was not letting her nap after a certain time normally 12 or 1 in the afternoon. Also, we read to her every night and the past month finally fell into a routine. Normally when i read to her i will have her sit on my lap or lie down with her. Oh by the way my daughter is 2 years going on three in December. Hope is helped out some, and hope it gets a little easier for you. CHEERS Friend.
