Dame Agatha Christie went missing for 10 days, during December 1926, her car, Morris Cowley, was left at Newlands Corner, Surrey. Not far from where I live. She was found later at Swan Hotel, Harrogate, Yorkshire. Her first published book, 1920, The Mysterious Affair at Styles, is named after her house Styles, at Sunningdale
