That was moving. Seeing your hard work and dedication bear fruit is amazing on its own, but when it comes to students, these people that look up to you for guidance... It must have been grand.

I've considered teaching as a professional path in the past, precisely because I believe a teacher's work is paramount in the development of the individual and, consequentially, of society.

Teacher-Student relationships are a mainstay in literature, and I'm always touched by them. In Camus's "The First Man", his final, unfinished work, the main character is able to escape misery in great part due to their teacher's dedication and support. This reminded me a bit of that.
