How To Get A Child Understand Easily When You Teach Them

It shouldn't be that so fast as we always wanted them to understand so easily, because we taught they should understand the way we do. Nope! That's not true because our brains ain't the same.

Some months back, I saw a lady trying to teach her kid sister his home assignment from school. But this child was not just getting it because his aunt was too harsh on him. It was like a tug of war between them before the home assignment could be done done.

I was privileged to move closer to them because I love kids. I took a closer look unto the boy, then I realized the boy's heart rate was beating faster. Why? He was afraid of his aunt beating him if he didn't respond right to her question after her teaching on his home assignment.

Lo and behold, this boy understand nothing from all her aunt teachings. Then, I pleaded his aunt for me to come in. I took over the matter, his aunt left us and I was so happy with that because it seems her present scares the boy off.

And you know what? This boy is a genius. I didn't even know he was that intelligent. But what was killing the good qualities in him was FEAR

The word fear is not a good option to all children when learning especially the ones just starting education (kindergarten). They won't be able to fight it because they are too young for that and this may affect them as they grow.

There are various ways to make a child learn faster. This is not only limited to the parents, also to the teachers in school.
The first one is:

Focus on your children's happiness

Since you are the mother/father of you children, then you should know how to figure out the exact place where your children takes pleasure in. Knowing this would be of good help to both parent and the children.

One thing about children is, ones you make them happy, they will like coming closer to you more often and their coming to you should give you that advantage to educate them on what they need to know. Trust me, they will definitely want to hear from you because they already see you as their lovely daddy or mummy.

It's generally happening everywhere, that you will see a child moving closer more often to his/her dad than his/her mother and vise versa. Why this? If we look more into this, we would see their is a particular thing the dad does always to make child like him more than his/her mum and vise versa.

Though in some families, it's balance, while some doesn't. In this case, the child will listen more attentively to the person he/she always move closer to. So all parent should endeavor make this equation balance.

Read With Your Children

When children are ready to start reading, it is tempting as parents to just let them look at the pictures while we read. However, what you should do is actually read with them, helping them to recognize letters and words. The earlier children are able to read, the smarter they are likely to become.

Be Caring While You Teach

The word caring matters a lot in bringing a child's up. And this was what that lady lacked showing to her kid sister. Instead of caring, she turned it otherwise.

All children loves to be teach with gentility mixed with a soft voice in conjunction of a smiling face. When you smile at a child, he/she will like you better than frowning.

For example, if you are teaching a child and you so caring in you words, but because the child is not grabbing as you wanted, you yell at him/her, look that child in the eyes you would see it has already changed like some one that want to be served punishment. Yelling at a child while teaching, you already destabilize his/her interest in that subject. So, don't be harsh on them or yell at them just be caring in your teaching and everything will go on smoothly. And at the end you both wins.

Allow Them Have Fun

Are you a type that always allow your children to study 24/7? Are you a type that do lock your children indoor immediately they return back from school? If yes, you should remember this general saying that says "all works and no play, makes Jack a dull boy".

Under Heaven, there is time for everything. Kids playing around during fun time is their happiest moment ever, so it's shouldn't be taking from them. This makes their body lighter because children fun time is more like an exercise depending on their fun type tho!
