DIFFERENT KINDS OF SCHOOLS ALL OVER THE WORLD

We are so inclined to just think that there are just two ways of going to school.

A normal school with a curriculum for all that is the same in every grade, like we all know or maybe home schooling.

I do not have a problem with any of them but I came across this video of different types of schools that I did not know about.

I was watching a television program somewhere in the week where children were learning how to build buildings and even tree houses.

I thought it was great as they all looked so happy, and they were truly enjoying themselves.

When I came across this video on how many different kinds of schools there was I thought maybe more people do not know about it?

So I was thinking we must really think of the world changing and specialising in certain areas.

I think if we could find out what children really want to do when they grow up this would be a wonderful method for them to know more before going to University or where ever they want to.

They could even be better at their work as it has been taught to them a long time.

OK so not all children know what they want to do but there is a big percentage that do.

If we could start them young it might just make life easier for them and they will be very good at what they do.

This video show us some schools  that I have never heard of but it is interesting.

Imagine sending your child to a school that teaches them to specialize in certain subjects that the child loves.

Do you not think we will have a lot more happy children and less problems. I truly think so.

May you enjoy this and have a wonderful day from me here at the Wild Coast.

When I was a teacher, I worked at a "project based learning" type of school. In this type of school, each class is assigned a project, and kids work on the project all semester.

The goal here is to take the skills that are learned in a traditional school, and take those skills and have the students work on a project instead. The skills are learned in order to be able to complete the project.

One of my favorite projects was the "Food Bank Project." We gathered information from our neighborhood, including what food the people in it liked to eat and were sometimes lacking in their home, and we sourced the food and distributed it.

I was intense. Along the way, we had to learn math equations, sorting, organizing, lots of writing asking for food, and then advertising to the locals etc.

And it was very rewarding.

Thanks for reminding me of this.
