this is the picture when i practicum in electric machine laboratory room and this is a set of separate amplifier dc generator. the working principle of seperate amplifier dc generator is as follows
work principle
The working principle of a DC generator is based on a right-hand rule. A pair of north-south permanent magnets produces a magnetic field line Ф, the wire on top of the right hand palm is pierced by a magnetic Ф line. If the wire is moved toward the thumb, then in the wire is produced an electric current I in the direction of the four fingers. What if the north-south position of a permanent magnet is reversed? Where is the direction of the resulting induced electric current?
A simple experiment can be done using a pair of permanent U-shaped magnets, a wire hung on both sides of the end, on the end of a wire paired with a Voltmeter. The wire rod is moved towards the arrow, on the wire generated emf induction with the measured voltage on the Voltmeter.
The magnitude of the raised induced emf
ui = B.L.v.z Volt
ui = Induced voltage on the wire, V
B = Magnetic field density, Tesla
L = effective wire length, meters
v = Speed of motion, m / sec
z = Number of turns of wire
thanks for this application eSteem @good-karma ✊👍
