Tribes

Today I look at the meaning of Tribes, we all come from one or integrate into a tribe in one way or another.

How do we relate this to the past, cultural tribes have always been around since ancient Rome.

We have splintered into various forms of tribes, via religion, region, names, we are all tribesman.

Tribes formed to protect territory, beliefs and blood ties. Celts, Rome, Gauls all old tribes of history.

An avid reader of Asterix and Obelix in my youth, gives you a great insight through the books on specific periods in time. (Cartoon books and You Tube videos now available.)

Sadly we also developed social division among people, if you were not of common descent, financial status or belief, you would not be allowed entry.

Steemit is a tribe of people, who believe in moving forward with technology, we sub-divide even further, into passions of teaching, sharing photography, life lessons learned, technology and separate that into categories, enabling us to find each other via tags or words.

Techy thanks to a community of people who help develop bots to protect us from scams, or unwanted works. (Tribe all of their own).

Whilst other techy guys (and girls) develop software to assist you to grow with bots, they move around within forums creating tribes assisting each other to grow. Be sure to find them in Witnesses and reciprocate by supporting them too!

Joining in and sharing within a tribe, you meet members similar to you, striking up new friendships.

Staying within the tribe means sharing and helping each other to grow, so don't be afraid if you feel lost, that is what tribes are about, an extension of a family around the world.

Our belief of equal effort for equal earning is a bit lost when language barriers strike, so further tribes are formed to cover situations unique to you and in your language. If many assist with setting up a region they are able to flourish.

Steemfest has just finished, I assume mainly in English, why not start a get together in Nigeria or China (wherever you live),

Start sharing via word of mouth, more will follow once they know how, when it is explained in their mother tongue.

Tribes to me; Is about people who gladly share, communicate always giving something of value to each other, ask nothing in return, in time you will become accepted in groups where you belong.

In every tribe there are those with a heart for others! The downtrodden ones, helpless ones, illiterate ones, parentless ones and so on. These great hearted members of each tribe are the ones that I seek to gather. A lovely post that deserves an Upvote.

Thank you so much for sharing your feelings, too many need assistance and cries for help never heard. We are all one and need to learn that from young @papilloncharity

Wow Joan, what a fabulous post. So inspiring and appropriate for everyone. We are all of one tribe and yet we find ourselves in the midst of sub-tribes here and there according to our little niche. Happy Sunday - resteemed

It is only when you stop and think about it, you realize how tribal we still are @sunscape and wishing you a wonderful day over there too.

Oh I so know it! One day, we will all see that we are all ONE and not separate in anyway as we begin to see everyone as a mirror image of ourselves. Life is good!

Keep up the good work :)
