Oh yes actually quite sad to see many youngsters now do not have a good command of language. The funniest part about text language is this.

The usage of 'd' for example "You eat d?" haha. Not sure isit only Malaysian can understand. Or " You eat edi?" some people may think edi is a good. haha.

I certainly agree with the ways you use to encourage your students. Hope more youngsters will embrace the importance of English language while also mastering the skill of text language.
