Anxiety is a terrible thing to deal with at any age, but especially for children. Thank you for posting on this cabbagepatch. It's something parents need to be vigilant about as young children often lack the verbal skills to express what they're feeling and older kids may be too embarrassed. It can be a very lonely place. The good news is, as you point out, anxiety can be easily treated if recognized. In my experience, there are safe herbal remedies that can be a very helpful adjunct to CBT and other therapies.

@eyeofthestorm you should write some articles about herbs and alternative medical therapies. I'm sure you would do a great job because of your knowledge and love. Your words are much appreciated and I know it came from within. The more we know about natural methods, the better this world will be. Please consider writing . I would support you in that endeavor. Have a great week. And again, thank-you so much for visiting!!! :D
I'll definitely give that some thought cabbagepatch! Thank you for the inspiration. Having struggled with anxiety myself, as a child and with a few tough bouts as an adult, I can say that natural remedies really can help and keep people off the riskier pharmaceutical drugs. Your encouragement is very much appreciated :D
We have something in common. I also had anxiety struggles so I can relate. I began to have panic attacks around the time of my divorce and it took me awhile to be able to drive again. My independence was compromised for a fairly long period but dug real deep to pull myself back up. Being a single mom when my daughter was one years old made me fight back because I still needed to work to pay for my mortgage on the house and support my daughter. I don't know how I managed but I did and am stronger for it. I think I'll eventually do a post on panic attacks and the struggles I had faced. Thank-you so much for your comments and sharing with me! Take care @eyeofthestorm!!! :D
I really think you should do a post on your experiences. It's a great idea and I'm sure would be very comforting, encouraging and helpful to anyone who is struggling with panic and anxiety. I'm so happy you found the strength to pull through your tough times. You take care too cabbagepatch!. :D
