I always say that we teach children by example.
Not by telling children what to do and doing something else yourself that you do not want them to do.
This is why it is so easy to teach children to do some chores. You can start them as young as 2 years old, but never criticize as this is a learning method.
Little ones can help dust the table and kitchen cupboards. While you are doing the same as they love doing things with you.
The younger they start the easier it is to keep them going.
There must be a chore list that the children can read and pick from. Make sure that every child has the same amount of chores and that will not let them feel that they are being punished, as punishment must never be used as a chore.
It should be a family fun activity and everyone can enjoy each other’s company. The older they get the harder the chores can become but when they are still small let them dust, sweep the floor feed the pets and let them throw out the rubbish.
They must all learn to clean their own room. When they are still very young you can ask them to help you make their bed and chat with them while doing it. Let them put their toys away and tell them how proud you are of them.
They will learn in this process how to do it themselves when they are a bit bigger. All children should put their toys away and they must know exactly where it should go. This will teach them to be neat and learn never to lose their things.
The bigger children can lay the table and clear the dishes away. Teach them how to put it into the dishwasher, and what they should wash by hand.
These are tasks that they can do together. For little ones you can make a drawing of how the plate must be put with the knife fork and spoon.
They can then practice this and when it is their turn to do it they will know how. Teach the little ones to check on the water for the animals and teach them when to feed them and how much.
All these things will become part of their lives and they will not feel as if they are left out. Once they start growing up you can even teach them how to iron and the children can get an evening a week that they have to make a meal.
All these things are so important because there will come a time that they will have to do this but they will already know how. Children who do chores learn what responsibility is and they never question it as it is how they grew up and they know exactly how.
Once they get to university they will be able to do things that some other students did not know about if they were not taught in the same way.
You will also find that these children work hard at their studies as they know what it means to make a family happy.
Happy families make life so much nicer, and they will always have respect for other people.
So teach your children chores from a young age and it will change their whole life. Hope you understand what I am trying to explain and have a wonderful day from me.
Good post dear.
Children learn everything by lovingly explaining. You them with penalties. So children start hating you. Because children are like blank pages. Whatever you want to write on it
Nice post
Great post! It's good information I got that we had to teach our children to do chores since they are 2 years old. What a young age! I realized that it's not easy at the first time I taught my three-year old daughter and my four-year son to put their toys away soon after they finished playing them. I needed quite long time to make them want to do it. However, if we consistently ask them to do it, they will be accustomed with this routine and learn about responsibility since they are very young.
Have a very good weekend!
Children, curious as they are, can be motivated to be ordered as you say, you just have to explain a series of simple tasks to create a fun habit. After several months it will be automatic and they will adopt several attitudes during their growth.
nice post my dear friend

Good and excellent post my friend @bigbear thanks
No doubt very nice post
Agree the younger the better, perhaps later earning a little pocket money, some must go into savings account.
Children learn like little sponges under the age of 7, after that is a bit late. I agree start them young, make sure if you start the savings account later, must be in their name, they become so proud when they are able to see what they are able to achieve.
