Today we are going to make a caterpillar that we can let children make all by themselves, without getting hurt at all, and they can have a lot of fun. We can ask the class to bring the ingredients to school and then the whole class can make them each one. It can be their lunch when they are finished after having a lot of fun.
The ingredients we are going to need will be, bread, cheese, ham, butter and some red tomatoes, small ones.
ingredients
2 loaves white bread, sliced vertically (you will need 12 slices)
butter
6 slices ham
6 slices chicken
6 slices cheese
1 small tomato
1 green onion stalk (or you can also use celery)
You will also need:toothpicks
Use some long onion stalks to connect the caterpillars.
You will have to also have a coockie maker to make the round little body for the caterpillar
Maybe they can work in a group and all get something to do.
Once the have put butter on the bread they must put the ham on.
Remember that the bread must be verticily sliced and then used to make the caterpillar.
Now we can butter the bread and add the ham or whatever they want, put the other slice on top and cut them out with your coockie cutter.
You can now put them together with a long onion leaf and form your catepillar.
Put the tomato on as the head, and cut some little eyes from cheese.
Put some onion on the cheese to make them look like eyes and then give it some feelers with your pieces of onion.
Children will love doing this, and I think they would like eating it even more as it is something they made themselves.
I really hope you will enjoy making these and have a wonderful day from me.

Hooooo this is such a great idea!!!!Thanks for sharing it.
It looks good. Perfect for a snack or to complement lunch. The key part of the preparation is that each child will put their effort to do this, it will be a team task and then enjoy it.

Fantastic post friend good
excellent idea for children's lunch box! It's easy and fun, I like it.
Well that's just plain adorable. I love the idea of playing with your food and making art with it.
A great idea, you have to give easy tools for our children to participate by working in their homes, as well may be they who prepare a meal without the risk of harm
