One day you just woke up and doesn’t feel the same

Love is an intense feeling of deep affection filled with butterflies and sugar rush; late night talks and deep conversations during the early stage. Along the way, you had someone to share all your highest of heights and lowest of lows. Since then, you found your hope and happiness, strengths and encouragement.

But change is inenvitable.

From the way he looked at you, talked to you and even the way he treated you, everything changed. The way he hold you and kisses you are not the same anymore. At some point, you started to question your needs, crave for enough attention and affection; you felt unwanted. Your eyes mirror your pain. Love became hate, happiness turned into anger, both of you transformed to anyone else.

You became strangers in your own relationship.

You talk but barely communicate, simple and plain conversations you made complicate.

Dramas blame to immaturity and youth; shallow and narrow you. Words spoken in anger leave the deepest wounds. Everyday is a heart break and torture. Most of the time, silence is the only cure.

Everyday, you found yourself in the middle of giving up or choosing to stay. However, you opt to stay and adapt what is happening. You keep on picking love over pain and sadness.

At the end of the day, no matter how hard it was and how difficult it will be, you decided to hold on.

You never stop believing and hoping that everything will be okay, everything will go back the same.

The next day, you disregard all the hurtful words of yesterday and cope up all the disappointments. You’re trying to forgive and choosing to forget. You’re still there looking for a brighter tomorrow.
