Some users have been asking about the rate limiting imposed on my full RPC node at https://rpc.steemliberator.com.
Not everyone experienced issues with due to not sending a ton of requests, but some larger communities have been effected. As a result, and as an experiment, I have removed the rate limiting from the NGINX proxy in front of my Steemd instance.
I have also added a connection to SteemIt's development "Jussi" endpoint. This should improve performance and reliability.

The economics of that post are obsolete though. A lot has changed since last year.
He didn't seem to understand what a witness was at all. I'm not being picky about the economics related to it
I know, but still, need to mention the figures are obsolete. Or he would be super impressed to see that a top 20 witness would make half a million steem per year, which is not the case 😉
