Firstly, your drawing skills are inspiring @karenthfer - I sadly inherited the inability to draw even the most basic of objects from my father. The best I can do is draw stick men, but in the same pose with their arms pointing up. People love to give me crap about it, haha.

There is nothing better than the rain. I don't know if it's because as a child I have fond memories of building blanket forts when it was raining and finding ways to entertain myself because I couldn't be outside riding my bike or going somewhere with my friends.

I am a little too old for blanket forts these days, I would probably throw my back out if I attempted to get down on the floor and build a fort with a few chairs and some blankets. Plus, my wife would probably have me committed to a mental hospital.

The best thing about when it rains is that I get away with not mowing the lawn or tending to the gardens. And I get to sit down and binge Netflix with a constant supply of quality coffee, something I don't get to do enough of these days.

By the way, what is up with some people not liking the rain? I got into a debate with someone at work recently who tried arguing that they prefer hot and sunny weather, and I prefer cold and raining weather. I think I won the argument by concluding that it's easier to warm up than it is to cool down.
