RE: Concurso Amo a mi país Steemit Colombia (El Salvador Centro América el pulgarcito de América)

What a beautiful presentation of El Salvador! I can see why you are proud to live there. There is so much variety, so close to where you live. I am glad you mentioned the farmers, too. I will add that I know you like El Salvador for how much food the countryside offers to people who take the time to learn about the wild plants, too. I am always impressed with how many local plants you have for food and other purposes.

Thank you very much, if I really adore it, if it were not for you I would not have been inspired to write about our little plants, and share every species that we have around here, especially if they are eaten.
Yes, the farmers are special, they are the ones who feed us and many times, their work is not remunerated, just as I have heard the red neck there, the same thing happens here.
The one who sees in the first photo is dad, a rough man who has worked the field for more than 70 years, and even in his 80s, continues to work hard, it is my support who has taught me everything I know, and who He always shares with us his knowledge, that is why he sings me to locate it in my post.
If there really is a lot of food the only thing that there is to know is where and how to look, which many people do not sometimes because of ignorance or because they prefer meat, I prefer plants and that is why I go to the countryside to look for things eat and what plants move to the land to have food nearby.
If there are some plants that are a source of food, I hope this year I can continue to share about them, so that we all learn and also learn from those that we have here but that I do not yet know how to eat, that I know what's in the forest a lot of plant that has not been explored.
If one day you decide to go through the Savior it will be an honor to receive you, to take you to visit our wonderful places of our beloved homeland.
Thank you very much for such a beautiful comment, a hug.
Best Regard.

My dad is the person that taught me the most, too. He is in his 80s too. And I still don't know all the plants like he does. But he is still learning, too. There is so much more than any of us can know ourselves - that's why I like when people share what they know!

Thank you for your offer to visit El Salvador. I know I would learn so much from you! And enjoy the beauty of your plants and the people. Happy foraging!

our parents are our inspiration and we will always learn from their much acquired wisdom over time, mine has almost 83 and as you can see in some of my publications is much but much healthier and stronger than me. ji ji ji ji ji ji ji ji

if thanks to God, steemit is becoming a valuable reservoir of great information especially of food acquired in the field through foraging.

Well to order, it would be great to have it here, I will always be an amateur agriculture that every space of free time, we take to collect plants and participate along with potatoes in agricultural activities.

Thank you for being here and teaching us how and where to look.
