Sometimes in the US, we can buy a "refurbished" phone that was owned by someone else for a time, and then re-worked by the factory to be almost like new. Those phones are much cheaper than truly new phones. Several years ago, a friend of mine bought an older-model iPhone for only USD $1 (only 70 Rupees!). You might ask for a refurbished phone at your local store, just for you to use until you can buy an iPhone!
