"I am the Vine, ye are the branches: He that abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without Me, you can do nothing "(John 15: 5).
The great lesson we learn from the above scripture is that God will never tell you to do something He has not provided for you to accomplish. He will not tell you to be fruitful unless He has made you fruit-filled. He will not expect you to be successful if He has not capacitated you with success potentials.
God will only ask you to reproduce what He has loaded you with. Someone said that it will be unjust for God to ask him to give out what He didn't put inside him. Would a husband demand his wife to give him a child when he has not planted any seed within her? It is unheard of!
Never forget that the day you were born, everything that will make you great and successful were already planted in your invisible human architecture. The Greek philosophical posturing that humans are born tabula rasa has long been scientifically repudiated. Genetics, Brain Science, and Pure Biology have laid that to rest. Every human being comes to the world with a success package called potentials tucked inside him or her. It is God's way of ensuring fairness for all and eliminating all excuses for failure by any individual.
Potentials are unused strengths, talents, gifts, capabilities, and opportunities. In plain words potential is what you can do that you have have not done yet; it is the woman or man you can be but have not become yet; it is the height you can climb that you have not yet attained; indeed, it is the glory that beckons on you but you have not yet been clothed with. This thing called potential is the summary of the inherent greatness lying dormant within you.
Like everything else that God gives, potential does not come in short supply. Yes, like the air, water, earth and other things that sustain the human economy, potentials come in limitless abundance. No human being on earth is short in terms of potential capacitation. In very fact, potential is the heaviest burden is carrying on earth. This is because by the account of Matthew 25, every person will account to God for what he or she did with the potential he or she came to the world with.
This, in your journey through life, never forget that whatever you are at the moment is only an infinitesimal fraction of what you can ultimately become. The person you are now is not the ultimate person you were designed to be; you can become better and better. Only you can halt your progressive and continual advancement into betterness. Only you can place the ceiling of your own growth.
Permit me to punctuate this piece here and take it up later. But never forget this keypoint:
THERE IS NO LIMIT TO WHAT A PERSON WHO ALIGNS WITH HIS OR HER GOD CAN DO AND BE.
