For anyone who has not seen my previous blogs, my son Matthew @steemblogs and I raise money for the local homeless.
Whilst fund raising we also take the opportunity to promote Steemit and how we always blog our fund raising activities.
Today was our next opportunity, a local car boot sale. Following donations of goods from family and friends, Matthew and I filled the boot of the car and set off at 7 am this morning.
The sun was shining and the sky was blue, which is amazing for the UK at this time of year.
With our Steemit t-shirt on display, for all to see, and leaflets to hand, we started selling.
I even had the opportunity to enjoy my cups of coffee from my Steemit mug.
After 4 hours of selling we had raised another £91.00 to add to our overall fund raised total of £3,500. That is a fantastic addition because that equates to another 180+ meals for people in need.
Job well done we thought!
