I mean notifications like user01 followed you, or user01 replied to your comment, or user01 commented on your post and many other possible notifications. It will be helpful for newbies like me. I am just new here but if admin reads my suggestion and consider it I will be very happy. Anyways I thank Steemit for creating this very great opportunity. More power to you and the admins! You are a very great help for bloggers like me. :D

Until the notifications are available in SteemIt you can use:
steemstats
Add your account name to the "account to watch" feature.
You will see:
Another tool is steemd
You can monitor the activities on your account. The URL is https://steemd.com/@xtiming
You can monitor anyone's account by changing the user name in the URL.
steemd also notifies you of new "follows" in your activity log. You will need to refresh the page to update the information.
